Tesco - grocery shopping online

'Scuse me if this sounds a bit thick, but I've never (food) shopped online before!!
Just done my weekly shop online. I normally go to the store but not got a car til next week and a taxi would be more than the delivery charge!
Anyway... shopping arriving in the morning, what happens when it's delivered?
Do I need to check everything while the driver is here?
I've got a printout of everything I've ordered and the price it's supposed to be, do I check it all off against that?
On my email it says if I'm not happy with an item I can give it back to the driver for a full refund... so does the driver have to stay until I'm satisfied everything is there and I'm happy with it?
I could get used to this shopping at home malarky... I've spent about £20 less than I normally would instore!

Hope you used a code for your shopping.
Try code XXXNGP
This code gives £10 off a £50 shop.
Even if you have already placed your order, you can go back into your account and add the code, so that you get the discount.
I always check my order before driver leaves, so that I can return any unwanted substitutions straight away and have a refund.

If this code doesn't work try XXLYFY
Failing that look on the Codes and Vouchers board0 -
Thank you but the 1st code did work! Been smoke free for 4 years!! :beer:0

Don't forget to always check the Voucher & Codes board before placing an order, as very often you can save your delivery charges.
Even if you send items back and this makes you go below the code minimum spend Tesco do not take the coupon amount off you. So it's a win win situation:j

The delivery person will have a print out which they will give to you, and they will tell you of any replacements or unavailable items (which will be on the print out).
Depending on how you chose the delivery, the driver will have a couple of big trays which they will either ask you where to bring it to (ie where's the kitchen) or will put down at your door. You then take everything out of the trays (the driver might help you).
And they'll ask if there is anything you want to refuse (replacement or short dated food etc), or if you have bags for recycling. Then you'll sign for it and they are off.
IMO I don't thoroughly check the stuff, just ensure it's all there. If there is a problem (something has burst or is mouldy or whatever) i call up the careline and get a refund.0
