I'm hoping I can make every hour today....I've got places to be but I'll try and fit my entries around going out too!!! How dare life interfere with my comping!!!! I'm out all day tomorrow (using tickets I won in a comp) so I think I'll do email entry then.

    Have to agree with layla,

I have really seen a shift in the dynamic of this forum (also on fb) over the last year and its not a pretty sight. :(

I think the dynamic of comper has changed recently, that's why.

I enter comps for fun. I find the monotony of entering comps kind of therapeutic. I enjoy the challenge and risk element.....you spend hours of your day entering and have no idea whether you'll win. I enjoy receiving the little things through the post....mascara, Mr Prittstick soft toy, Anchor Tea Towel.....if I get a big win, then it's a very happy bonus.....
......HOWEVER, this is a money saving forum. Some people are on here to save/make money. Unfortunately, I think greed/desperation is what motivates some compers. They see comping as a way to make money and don't comp with the same drive that the majority of us have. Thus they are extremely competitive and will go to any lengths to win. You'll always get cheats and fraudsters. To a certain extent we all do that....I am entering the Reward Your Thirst comp every hour, altering my codes each time....but I've only bought one bottle of Mountain Dew since the comp started..... That is as far as my 'cheating' will go though...

Fortunately the greedy/desperate compers are in the minority, and after 4 years of being here, I still think this forum is a lovely place .

Karma will see to them anyway!

    Good luck! :)

I wasn't going to do poems today and my first entry was a not-very-clever play with words about the features of my item but I've now just adapted one of the poems from yesterday and stick with that I think. I'm going to miss the last 2-3 draws today anyway. I've only got a basic phone with no email/internet access so can't even email my entries :(

Perhaps I should be asking for an iPhone
