Hello,
after taking my head out of the sand and starting to sort my finances out, i checked both my experian and equifax reports, so that i could get a list of all the debts i have.
on my equifax one the egg loan i took out says it has been settled ( i had defaulted on this when i left my expensive DMP with Gregory Pennington in 2008) this was updated on the 31.07.11, the experain has been updated since 03.07.11,
does this mean that Egg have wiped it off? or that they have sold it on, i have had no post from egg apart from them telling me they were selling up.
Im very confused, i was going to phone them tomorrow to ask about payments et, should i leave it :-S
Thank you

egg mark debts as settled when they sell them on to someone else
it just means that its settled with egg. its still owed to whoever they sold it to0 -
thank you! :-)
I just wanted to check! i have budgeted to pay it off :-)0 -
All egg loans were sold to moorgate loan servicing on 11 July this year. Mine now shows up as such on equifax but still with egg on experian. Sure it will be updated soon.
Not sure where yours fits in to this though:beer:0
