Hi,
I'm looking to get my house woodwork replaced with uPVC and wondered if anyone could recommend a local company (Tayside area) that they have dealt with and are happy with the work?
I will, of course get several quotes, but I don't really know how to narrow down the local companies to get quotes from.
Thanks in advance.

Definately Would not recommend Everest anyway -if thats any help, not only for the bargeboards and soffits. I have just come off the phone to them in regard to ours which was replaced 3 years ago, they had to come out and do remedial work, and I have had scaffolding lying around unused for a week, so cant use the drive, and also ask them to come out and clean the top of the roof of the carport =- they left all the old cement lying on it.
There is a chap in Blairgowrie called Ewan Stewart who is doing a alot of work on this estate (Betts Built houses) as his pricing is good and he is reliable., We will be contacting him shortly to put the caps on the end of the tiles (dont know what they are called) but out of the houses in our street he has done 50 percent of them. Hope that helps.Every days a School day!0 -
You say getting woodwork replaced. If you really do want the woodwork replaced, then when you get quotes make sure it is for replacement.
The alternative method, which is quicker and cheaper, is to stick the UPVC over the existing wood.
There are pros and cons to both methods.0 -
