im having a really bright royal blue and silver (also a autumn wedding oct 2012)The only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50

Actually, another idea might be to steer away from the Autumnal "warm" tones & go for something brighter.
Your guests may be wearing something more seasonal, so having brighter tones may mean that the BMs etc stand out more.0 -
As you met through gardening, how about choosing your flowers together and setting the colour scheme around that?

Just to throw a spanner in the works - what about chocolate and gold, rather than orange? But then again, there so seem to be a lot of blue flowers that are seasonal then. It took me ages to decide on colours, and I still don't really have a theme! Sorry, I am no help whatsoever really. If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.0

I have friends who married using the chocolate and orange colour scheme. The 'boys' wore brown Prince Edward suits, bridesmaids had floor length chocolate satin dresses and the orange colour was through the flowers and cravats. Looked stunning. They also had orange flowers in church and accessorised with orange confetti buckets, planters etc. I don't think you'd have too much of an issue with the congregation wearing the same colours. Most people 'read into' a hint of the colour scheme when they receive invitations and tend to stay away from it. We married 4 weeks ago, and sent brown and green invitations... guess what colours nobody else wore?!
Good luck deciding- whatever you choose, I'm sure it will be wonderful!

I'm all for no colour schemes!
My flowers didn't match the BMs, and the groomsmens ties were a completely different colour to the colours the BMs were wearing:0 -

I had sage green and Ivory, as didn't want to copy any of my family/friends colour schemes, and red, pink, navy, light blue, purple and lilac had all been used by friends in their weddings in the past year or so.
It looked really classic and elegant, had some accents of silver as well.:j baby lauren born 06/01/2011 + got married 02/07/2011 :j0 -
