We're getting married in September next year and I can't a dession on colours. so far I've come up with Silver and Blue, blue and brown, soft pink nude colours, Autumn colours, Chocolate and orange and gold and Ivory. The photos will if the weather in nice be outside in the gardens, so I don't want anything that will clash. many thanks in advance for all comments and suggestions

I had a dark purple bridesmaid dresses and mens ties with viberant pink Gerberas and stargazer lillys which looked lovely in the pictures and have had many comments on what a lovely colour scheme it was.

Navy and and viberant pink is nice and so is burnt oranges with golds or sage green and pale pinks.

Do you have any theme? what sort of venue are you having the wedding and photos taken?

Hope my ideas give you a little inspiration
P.S Congratulations on setting you date it will wizz past enjoy every minute of it x

  • I've said gold and ivory :)

I'm having navy, ivory and gold (the gold is due to the OH's waistcoat.)

I think it'll look beautiful in autumn with the trees as they will be shades of red and brown and gold and ivory will go nicely - it'll blend with the autumny-ness and it'll be bright and sunshiney, if that makes any sense! :)
Planned our wedding, still planning lessons

    Do you have a Scotsgroom?
If so will he be wearing Tartan, and if so again, maybe you could use that as a coulour scheme.

Also, it may be worth speaking to your BMs about what colours they like.

MIL2B would like him to wear a kilt in Mackenzie tartan but I know he would feel uncomfortable we have discussed it. He will either be wearing a waistcoat and shirt or a Tie and shirt I think he will probably go for the formar as he continuely fiddles with ties. Also if there was tartan I would want to incorperape tartans from my family which are Gordon on my mum's side and MacMillan on dad's side.

Have spoke to bms they all like different colours!
