Thanks to thriftyjo who flagged up the website offering free cat and dog food.

From the same site you can get a free sample of Rabbit, Ferret, Rat or Guinea Pig food. I would have just posted a reply but wanted to draw attention to the fact that there were samples there other than cat and dog food which may have been missed by MSErs with those animals but not a cat or dog.

ps - anyone thinking of getting rats but also thinking yeuck!!! - they are wicked pets and so responsive I wish we had got them ages ago !!!:beer:
