  • That book has an exclusive minifig too, and a LOT of info about how the designs were tweaked between the first run of sets and the latest- very informative! (OH may have bought it for me for the big C ;)).

Don't forget to WOW this thread, folks. We've been going for ages but only have 8 WOWs so looks a bit weedy. If you go to the first post and "wow thank" it we can bump it up a bit! :T How quickly can we get it to 100?
They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.

Goodness, you've all been busy! Not been checking what's available for a few days. Anyway, here goes:

8805 LEGO Minifigures Series 5 - £1 in store at Sainsbury's (can't guarantee these will be stocked in every store)

  • Any ideas where the cheapest place is to buy big Lego boards/bases (whatever you like to call them, lol). We have lots of Lego, but only one large board. I have seem a few on ebay.

    Zippy x

I suggest that after checking Amazon you could also try searching the MegaShopBot if it's not too much hassle. You never know, you might find something cheaper.

I have updated the front page with a brief summary of whats been happening in the past 30 pages of great Lego deals.

It's by no means definitive as deals are changing constantly but there is some info provided by all you guys that may be missed by others new to the thread.
It only takes a second to say thanks!

On the Google tab of Megahopbot I get some results for that model, but it has been discontinued now I think.
We have that one at home - it's a good one!

Edit: I'm not sure it's worth the £70 it goes for on ebay though!

Foundem said zero hits, but then you click accross to one of the other search sites (google and Price Terrier are there by default).

    14/14 5 star reviews can't be bad.

Best place is Amazon - put the ones you want on a wish list and check prices each day as they are sometimes much cheaper but only for a day or two - I got 2 green bases on Monday for £8.10 including delivery (they are normally approx £5.99 each)

You can use camelcamelcamel to track the prices for you and they will send an automatic email if the price goes down to your desired level.
