    Genuine or counterfeit?

Sorry this isn't news of a bargain, but I'd be grateful for advice. I've just bought 2 Batman Joker minifigs from a new Amazon seller. I assumed the reasonable price was designed to build up feedback, but I suspect they are not, as sold, genuine Lego. They are in individual plastic bags, with a base labelled S World Minifigures. Searching online I can't find anything definitive. I don't want to open the bags.

Before I contact the seller, is there such a thing as genuine Lego S World?

    Thanks

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the minifigures you have purchased are not made by Lego, they are cheap copies. "S World" are the manufacturer.

Thanks - I was pretty sure. I knew I could depend on this thread! This seller has several minifigs listed, all as Lego.

I might just contact Amazon and see if I have to return for a refund.

Chima sets in Tesco have a range of discounts on them. Between £1.50 - £5 off.

As the other poster mentioned, they are definitely fake but, the quality of these is normally very good & hard to tell apart from genuine lego minifigures. I've bought a few from ebay in the past. Better than paying silly money that some people charge.

I am, as I type, building a load of S World mini figures that have just arrived from China via eBay. Not genuine Lego but really good quality and my 6 year old son loves them - all sorts of Marvel characters :-)

I have 6 year old twin grandsons, obsessed with Superheroes, and the genuine minifigs are now just silly prices. Now I've discovered this alternative I am tempted, but found very mixed reviews.

At least the eBay sellers don't claim to be the genuine article, which my Amazon seller does.

Any tips about which sellers are likely to provide decent quality?

Thanks, and apologies to the purists. I think I'm about to become an ex-purist.
