i know this isnt a deal but was looking on amazon.com and the price difference between there and the UK version is quite a lot , some things i was looking at were 25-30% cheaper , shame they dont deliver to the UK , although i am going to LA next week so think i will ask hotel if its ok to accept parcels and get some items ordered

Some bits of Amazon.com will deliver to the UK. I've ordered from them before for something I could not get on the UK site (& was silly money anywhere in the UK).


Keep looking, you may find someone willing to ship over here

Asda has offers on Lego instore at the moment popped in this morning and picked up the lego city Arctic helicrane for £12 (£19.99 on amazon) and I also got the friends Lego Advent for £17 there are lots of other lego and toys on offer too

There's also a big difference in price between amazon UK and the european amazon sites - worth looking at those. Even if you can't speak the language, the websites are set out the same way, and delivery works out as £5 or thereabouts (I usually do an order of many sets at once!)
