I was in Tesco last night and saw a SEL for Lego Mini Figures series 7 reduced from 1.97 to 97p. There were none on the shelf but there was 1 hanging on a strip. I bought it and it went through at 1.97, so I was overcharged by £1 and got £2 back. This was in the regular lego section. You will only get DTD if there is an SEL that says 97 (or 98)p and it scans @ 1.97.
And it was one we didn't have, the black knight

Series 7 Minifigures have been 98p in Tesco for the past week and (un)fortunately going through at 98p for us.

purchased 4 packets in tesco southampton west quay yesterday and went through at £1.97 but didnt see what sel said.

Has anyone managed to get for 98p at any stores near southampton?

im after the lego mine set rrp£69.99..amazon have it at £55.99..opinions on if i should get it now please?

:rotfl: I was doing this the other night. To make sure I was concentrating I was averting my gaze up in the air whilst feeling the foil pack. Unfortunately when I concentrate too hard I fear I stick my tongue out so I must have looked a right sight when I realised someone was looking at me on their way past. Series 7 mini figures have unique dot patterns on the bottom which mean you can normally find the right ones, plus cheat sheets on the Internet telling you what to look for.

Only series 7 (red packet) currently on offer, bought in stores in Yorkshire and elsewhere so appears to be national.

I was looking at this as its not a bad price considering its one of the newer range. I know argos have done 25% off lego in the run up to xmas which would make it £52.49 or they even did 3 for 2 last sep which would bring it down even more but no way to know wether or not they'll do either of those offers again this yr or if lego will be included if they do.
I think you have to decide if your willing to pay full price if you wait and then can not get it on another offer or if your happy with the offer price then go for it.
