Lol Sefton General is long gone and there is an Asda in its place now! :D
  • No way! Well it was about 20 years ago since I left. Have been back since though didn't enquire about this, no need to I guess. Can't imagine an ASDA at the top of the road I used to live on either. Amazing!
  • Lego Games Minotaurus - £8.99 in-store at Argos. Appears to be nationwide.

Has always been pretty hard to find stock anywhere so 10 pound off is pretty good.

This seems ok too but not priced it up anywhere else.
There is also a couple quid off some of the new sets like the dino ones ect. but nothing great.
Delivery is 4.95 though so best for store pick up or free if spending over 40

I was in Wa1kden this morning and there was a lot of reduced lego. Can't quite remember what (sorry, am rotten Auntie to Lego-mad nephew) but some big stuff and the odd little box. All of them were half price at least, sometimes a bit more. I checked on eBay and all the reduced stuff was cheaper than on there. They also had the Hillside House reduced by half price or more.

I risked buying him Ninjago 2507 (£39) and Harry Potter 4867 (£24.50). Is this the sort of thing which goes out of fashion? Am I risking him thinking I am a very out-of-touch Auntie?! He won't get them for months yet.

What store was this in, Tesco?

I wouldn't say that any Lego really goes out of fashion. Of course they introduce new ranges all the time, and some go out of production, but my boys are happy to play with any Lego from the newest Harry Potter one going back over the years to Lego Agents, Rock Raiders, Adventurers, old City sets, honestly if a kid is Lego mad then they won't mind what the set is!
