I've got the TV on in the background and that ad has just run in the original format. With the "it wosn't cost you a penny" still included.
How long 'til they have to cancel it?
It bugs the hell out of me!!"...they figured he was a lazy time wasting slacker, they were right."
I used to be a DFW... Then I didn't log on here for 6 years!! Whoops... I guess that quote is true...!!0 -

The BBA and OFT are currently looking into the advertising of debt company's.
Lets us help you write off 100% of the debt you can't afford to pay
Write off 90% of your debt
Be debt free in 60 months
etc
etc
etc
one of these company's even advertises that they have been helping people in Scotland since 1969. I know this is not true, I used to work for them!!!!!!!
I own a debt advice company myself and am fed up with these company's making people think we are all tarred with the same brush. I left a company that thought more of its shareholders than its clients! They didn't care if an IVA or Trust Deed etc was the best for the client, it only mattered if they made money from it.
If I had known what I know now about debt over 10 years ago, I could have handled my own situation a lot better.0 -

Sorry if it came out that way. I wasn't tarring every company with the same brush, I'm sure there are a lot of good ones out there0 -

Hello - I'm new but have been intrigued by the adverts currently running in reputable national newspapers by debtfreedirect.info saying that if you owe more than 15k and have a regular income you can take advantage of a government loophole to have your debts written off - from their website they say this is free advice and they do not take any fee for sorting out your debt. Is this right because it seems too good to be true. I note Martin recommends the CCCS and National debtline or the CAB. Does anyone else have any experience. I am looking to restructure or consolidate.0
