Need advise on what to do next

I have debts amounting to around £8,000,These are from a car that I have yet to finish paying for,utility bills from previous properties I have lived in,and catalogues.Letters are arriving daily and the phone calls are increasing.I am totally stuck as what to do next.Im unable to get any credit,tried numerous credit cards (aqua,vanquis).I have been thinking about declaring myself bankrupt,as I am starting to get desperate.I have a bank account with no overdraft.Can you advise me on what to do next

It sounds like you cannot currently keep up with the contracted or minimum payments on all your debts - is that right?

If you have a poor credit historyand are missing payments then I would stop applying for new credit and new cards, as you will almost certainly not be accepted.

It may be that bankruptcy is a suitable option but there are also other possible options, such as a debt management plan or a DRO (a type of mini bankruptcy), depending on what your statement of affairs shows.
