I have had this. Tried to reserve 2 tickets in London, told to ring helpline with connection ID, stayed on hold for 35 minutes (!!!!) only to be told that these tickets had been purchased by someone else. Came off phone, went back to computer and refreshed the page and it gave me same message with different connection ID!!! The man told me to get up early and try to get some 2moro but I told him that I could not afford them now as I had to put the money away for my phone bill!!!

Has anyone managed to get tickets reserved by a connection ID or a three digit reservation number

I was on hold for 40 mins, then gave up.

Can you use 0870 numbers out of mobile free minutes, or are they not classed as landline calls?

tickets go onsale at 9.00am tomorrow to general public

tickets available from usual outlets i.e. ticketmaster, seetickets etc

all presale sold out (note this wasn't really a presale as was available to general public)

0870 are certainly NOT classed as landline

you are better off phoning from a landline (from work i find is the cheapest hehe)

it depends on how you call them at what time of day etc etc

ie BT or NTL or Carphone warehouse or 1899 etc etc

who are you with?

BT is currently 7.1 p / min

so a 2 hour wait on hold will cost you £8.52

1899 is currently 7.0 p /min weekdays

only 2 p / min on 1899 on weekends (that doesn't really help now i know)

please note mobiles are much more expensive again
