Onepoll - only for parents now?

I've been a member of Onepoll for 2 years and got up to £27 but recently I seemed to get screened out of every money earning survey and most of the prize surveys. In the last month I only managed to earn 10p! The screenout question always seems to be related to the number of children you have (none in my case). Anyone else having similar problems?

Yes, you soon know you are wasting your time when the first question is 'How many children do you have?'.

The second one is invariably 'What are their ages?' and as soon as you say they are over the higher age limit (which varies slightly from poll to poll), you are screened out.

It feels like that to me as well. There can be loads of surveys but very few suitable.

Have just been on, six surveys only one suitable.

I've been having the same issues with Onepoll recently :(

I've almost given up on the site. It wouldn't be quite as bad if the surveys had meaningful titles so I could just ignore the children related ones but they don't.

I did one about cats earlier on today. And even though I do have two children I still seem to keep getting screened out. I keep on trying though.

Obviously I'm in no way suggesting you should bend the truth in any of these surveys, but I'm sure sometimes it's possible to accidently tick the wrong box and suddenly have a couple of kids?!?

Whoops - I just acquired a cat!! Worth it for the 15p though!! ;)

So I'm not the only one...

It's annoying as Onepoll wasn't like that at first (hence my £27). Overall I've invested quite a bit of time in it and with the current rate of surveys it could take me 10 years to reach the payout unless I start stretching the truth on the surveys.
  • Yes, I'm screened out all the time now for the children reason. But my daughter, who has three year old, is also rejected (eight times yesterday) for not being quite right etc. When we compare, we never have the same surveys offered. I've managed £40 payout twice since I joined, but can't see me reaching it again as it has taken me two months to gain £2! Nothing today, despite long list - just prize surveys. All a bit hit and miss - and don't start me off on their cashback site! That's another story.....

  • Glad its not just me. Its taken me over 15m to get up to £31 but I can't see me ever reaching the £40 payout unless I acquire some imaginary children.
