Access NI Clearence

Hi, I was wondering if any of you nice people could help me? I have had Access NI Clearence for the last 3 years but it expired a few weeks ago. As I'm no longer working for the employer that got me it first time round I didn't apply to have it renewed. Now I need it in order to apply for another job with an agency and I don't know who to get it. I find the website a bit confusing to be honest. Do I have to pay the agency to apply for it on my behalf or can I apply for it on my own? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

As far as I know you can get the application form from the agency - just complete - the agency may need to complete a section as well. Most companies ask you to pay or sometimes they deduct the fee out of yur first pay. Think it costs apprx.£60 HTH :beer:

Daughter did it for a new job, took 3 weeks and cost her £30, it was for a care home

Your Access NI clearance is only valid for the job in which you applied originally, every time you change job you'll need a new one as it only holds info that is correct on the day it is printed. Some organizations are playing a risky game by accepting people with previous clearance, you won't know of any offences committed recently.
