  • Coming from the man who screwed Tesco during DTD? I've posted Grabbits, I've contributed a penny find to the Tesco thread, I've confirmed glitches are working in Tesco before others as I live next door to one. I could just lurk, as I fear such animosity towards posters leads others to not bother sharing.

And, as if I need further justification for my purchases, yes, the Hello Kitty lunchboxes are gifts for younger cousins. In fact, four have already gone to the kids who've just moved in down the road.

I like arguing with judgemental people though, so do continue.

Well I think a lot of us use the glitches to amass gifts - have done it with Bodyshop stuff too.

But each to their own - once these are gone they're gone and no point worrying about it.

Some get more than others - but so what really?

Believe it or not I don't have an issue with people stockpiling items that they can use. I mean if you had 500 cans of coke instead of just a couple of hundred, that would not bother me at all.

I actually bought a dozen fairy liquid myself yesterday. But I know I'll use it.

It is the items that are bought for the sake of it. (I remember one guy buying a few hundred packs of panty towels just because they were really cheap). That stops other women from benefiting from the deals.

You bought 12 play doh's as well as 12 lunch boxes. You must have a huge family??

  • Is 12 really that big for an extended family? Four twentysomething cousins with 1 - 4 kids aged under 10 each? I suppose it's the norm for me, but I can understand that it might not be for others. I'd estimate 75% of the glitches I take advantage of go elsewhere. There's no way I'll use all the Fairy, for instance, but handing a half dozen bottles to friends in exchange for a pint or two next time I see them or giving the elderly neighbours a few for taking in my parcels when I'm at work or using it to wash something other than pots (I find it's good for cleaning cars, and at that price, I'm not bothered if I use a whole bottle) gives me more of a buzz than simply 'buying for the sake of it'. That'd be silly.

I do drink Pepsi though. That's all for me. Oh, and pasta. That's mine, too.

I do still wonder what that single lad did with all those panty towels.:rotfl:

I think we can all learn from that. Just because we can, doesn't mean we should!!

That's the definition of greed copied very well and pasted with equal aplomb. What's your point? Do you need to look up 'justify', too?
