Does anybody remember or have a recipe for a lemon sponge dessert with a lemon sauce at the bottom?
Mum used to make it for us when we were kids (30+ years ago). She says it was a packet mix and there was a chocolate one also and it was probably a McDougalls packet
Fingers crossed one of your wonderful people can help, donna x

We used to make one from scratch - I've a feeling its in one of Jamie Olivers books, but it was around years ago.

Try this. If you want you can swap some (1oz probably - its a while since I've done it) of the flour for cocoa powder, and change the lemon juice for orange juice to make a chocolate orange version.Adventure before Dementia!0 -
