Making butterfly embellishments

Can anyone tell me how to make these butterflies etc and where do I get the materials from?

They are just like "tights" mesh stretched over some really thin wire. In fact, I think the wire is painted silver so not sure what it is.

I want to try and make some as I can't find any creams and yellows.
