Sainsbury's Misprice / Overcharging policy

Does anyone actually know what this is? (in store, not online shopping).
I have gone through everything on their website and searched various google searches and threads on here for about an hour.
I can't find any current information anywhere... which is a bit odd?
I rang Sainsbury's CS and the guy said yes all the info about overcharging is online, I asked him to point me where this was. He took me to the refunds section on their website. Pointed out refunds was not the same as overpricing, he said he wasn't actually sure what the policy was!! said he would check with supervisor and phone me back... odd x 2 ! No phone call back as such after a day..
Whilst I'm waiting... Anyone know?

Dont believe they have a special policy, if overcharged you bring it to the cs desk they refund you and then charge you the correct price.
I seem to remember it being different about 12/13 years ago but not for a long time.
Would be keen to know if you're told any different.

I shop regularly at Sainsbury's and I also am not aware of any policy except a refund from Customer Service if they over charge!
Having said that their customer service line is excellent and they also have a money back if you're not happy with a Sainsbury's product, I have used this when I bought a birthday cake for my daughter that the design had changed on saying that it wasn't anywhere near as good as the previous product (which it wasn't although it was still nice) and they sent a giftcard for the price of the cake as an apology!"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138
