Wow so many of these things just sound wonderful and I wish we lived a bit nearer the beach.... one of my favourite places to be. Either sand or stones the kids and us always manage to keep ourselves entertained at the 'seaside'. I did not have any holidays abroad until I left home and we didn't have a car til I was at secondary school but I have the best childhood memories. I am lucily enough to have been able to take my family abroad but often say the littles don't know if they are at the beach in Barbados (no we have not been there!!) or Bognor!!

Our leisure time this weekend was mostly spent in doors as the 3 year old was poorly, so all our busy plans were cancelled. We had some good family time making choccie fridge cake, having a family movie (disney dvd we got for chrimbo 2 years ago!) choosing a menu for mothers day as we had to cancel our lunch out (saved money there!!) and chatting about red nose day and what its all about!!

We are meant to be doing the family flora marathon (see freebies thread) to encourage us to take excercise together but we didn't get too far this weekend!!!
