Hi, was just thinking about playing counter strike again but couldn't find the original disk and had removed it from my pc
I went to http://www.steampowered.com/v/index.php and logged into my account, went to my games and there it was as a free download as i had previously registered the game with them :T
While i was looking around there site i noticed that you can download Half Life episode 1 for $15.95 (about £8.26 sterling) the cheapest online price is £14.99 and you get it pretty well instantly (also you don't need the original game to play it!
Hope this is off some use to someone!

p.s. steam is free to sign up to and you can download loads of free demos, great if you don't wanna fork out £30+ for a game you may not like and that a lot of high street shops and online retailers will not let you take back now
