Laptop - Advice needed urgently.

My 73 yr old neigbours lappy is defunct and he needs a new one and has asked me to advise (Why???)

Can anyone suggest anything around the £300 mark.

he uses it for Browsing, Emailing and viewing his Vintage Car photos (No games).

A couple of models he has found follow but i have no idea which would be the best one.

  • I recently advised my neighbour to buy a Lenovo laptop for his niece for college as Lenovo (IBM) are the 3rd largest in the world and are used by most of the big companies. I ordered one from dabs.com and it is a very high spec box but was on offer for £299 as it's been superceded. Looking around the web it looks as though they've nearly all sold out but did manage to find them for £299 with free shipping at bhsdirect
