Hi everyone,
The company I work for is closing down and I have 2 weeks to go until I am officially unemployed.......
Basically I am going self employed as I am a joiner to trade BUT it would be nice to have top up income in case I don't get any work (beginning to panick as D Day approaches)
I have applied for umpteen part time jobs with no reply or feedback so wondered about making money online.
I already sell on ebay but am at the stage where I don't have much left to sell and anyone who uses ebay will know that the fees are a bit over the top nowadays.
Saw a thread for arise but when I clicked on it it had been removed for some reason. Lionbridge....I half filled in the application but didn't have my ID with me so when I went back later to complete it there was no option to do that. Cust service did not reply.
Matched betting is over my head
all that seems left is saucy phone lines and im certain I would laugh too much and get sacked
Any ideas appreciated
Gx

There have been threads for Arise/Callcatcherz and Teletech here in the past, which I believe are customer service jobs. Call centre type role but working from home, so all the usual stuff that goes with a cs role. Try googling them.

I haven't worked for either so this isn't any kind of recommendation either way.Barclaycard 0% - [STRIKE]£1688.37 [/STRIKE] Paid off 10.06.120 -
Don't work for Arise. Pay is rubbish and you'll hate the job and the technical difficulties
I believe there are other home based phone jobs for more reputable companies - I'm sure people will be able to provide names or a search on here will bring them up.0 -
I've just got a job (pending a background check, a check to make sure my computer is up to standards, and passing training - but I'm hoping they'll be fine) with Teletech @home. It's Sky customer service and all done from home, including training - all you need is a laptop and landline! It won't let me post links but go to hirepoint.com to apply.0

Whats the money like for these sort of jobs working from home, none of the job descriptions seem to have an hourly rate???0

Go to sureboom forum and under other opportunities they have threads on arise, teletech and many other jobs, lots of help and feedback, i have worked for a few customer service jobs from home some good, some not so good.

Yeah they are great, I know people who have worked for them in the past too and they highly recommended them to me. Just finished my 2nd week of training and am loving it!!
talulah25- the job I do with teletech @ home is £6 an hour for training and probationary period, then £6.25 after that.0 -
Are there specific hours you have to work for this type of thing (i.e. is it all day time work or is there scope to work evenings?)0
