i've been lucky she's really laid back, she latched on straight away and took to the breast from the beginning. i really hated it when people told me how bad their labours were, as if i wasn't scared enough:mad: good luck!
  • My youngest is 14 months now and i totally miss her being a wee baby!
She has slept through the night since 8 weeks so not too bad and I have to say if you are planning on breast feeding - it is the most amazing bonding experience. I fed both my kids and loved every minute of it. Dont worry if at first you dont succeed speak to the midwife or breast feeding expert if they have one and persevere for a while at least. As for the births, i spent most of my second one in the bath - at home then at the hospital when i finally got there (after two days of contractions!) I found the warm water really helped and just gas and air for both.

I hope everything goes well for you! keep us all informed.

good luck with your labour and delivery.

How about signing up for baby clubs - I know Tesco do one/ what about Asda/mothercare/boots etc? You might get some useful freebies.

All the best with it all.

P.S on the money saving in marriages, famililes etc board there is a thread called the MSE pregnancy club. I haven't looked through it but I'm sure they'll have advice on how to do things cheaply.

Thanks for that advice I will certainly have a look through that board. Im signed up to all the supermarkets and have saved a small fortune off the price of nappies and had many freebies, so doing well on that score. We are ready, just praying that the baby will come early as my partner has been told his start date for the police will be April 1st, leaving us very little time to pack our house up, find somewhere to live and move the other side of the country! Life truly is a rollercoaster!;)

Thanks Harri, I do like H&M and will go have a look there. I try and steer clear of shops like that as I spend too much money on rubbish I don't need, but now I'm too fat for the regular stuff I can go in and be good!:D
