    Er, no.

Simply stating 'Sorry, I'm afraid they are for customers who have purchased items at the pharmacy' is a far better way to deal with people, don't you think?

My sister (on occasions) has to work 12 hour days.

12 HOURS of tight wads, would you be quite so polite?

I think not (although provide evidence to prove otherwise and I shall stand corrected).

Also, they need to get their kicks somehow:rotfl:

most of us have to work, we all have drawbacks to our jobs, if your sister finds it difficult to cope with people then perhaps she shouldn't be in a job which brings her in such close contact to customers (whether they be tight wads or not)

I used to work similar hours and managed to stay polite with customers even when they are rude, if you have to vent you do it when they have gone and to another member of staff not to a customer

i used to work in Mr Ts and TBH with you, giving away free stuff was a much better part of the job than replenishing the frozen food section
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Well, I went to the pharmacy today and got into a nice convo about the pro's and cons of migraleve. The lady told me I should only use paracetomol as I'm still BF, so I bought a pack for 32p and asked if she had any healthcare bags, she gave one over no problems (this is the same lady who was very rude last time!) I got the New year pack, and am very pleased with it.

  • we have a huge Tesco Extra but no pharmacy :( They're doing a massive extension aswell, I think they may be trying to take over the entire retail park!
