Dulux Paint Pod Pain

Ok, so i was suckered in by the offer of the free compact pod with any paint on wilko.
Im now looking at the paints :eek: Ive been told that no other paint will work as Dulux has done something to prevent it.
First off, is this true?
Second off, can anyone tell me where is cheapest to get this stuff at the moment? I only need to do one wall, might just go and get roller...!!!!:p:rotfl:
