Rust stains on bath.

Hi everyone,
Anyone knows how to get rust stains off a plastic bath?
Last winter we needed to use the hose pipe to clear outside drains but it was frozen. It's on a metal reel, and I stood it in our plastic bath to thaw out, but it left rust marks, and I can't get them off.
I've tried neat bleach, bicarb of soda, lemon juice, vinegar, Cif, and salt. I even heard that toothpaste can do it, but nothing has worked.
Thanx,
Candy

try wd40 - it's sounds crazy - but it should clean itsaving money by growing my own - much of which gets drunk
made loads last year :beer:0 -
If it's an enamel bath try hydrogen peroxide (you can get it from the chemist). It's what I use
Doh! Just realised you have a plastic bath!Don't judge people on they way they look, the way they speak or what they're called because they can't help that.
Only judge people on what they say and what they do.0 -

Oh, right, we do have some of that. I'll try it then. Thanks.

I know with fabrics, if you use chlorine bleach on a rust stain you set it permanently
Hope that's not the case with plastic. If the WD40 doesn't work, you could try one of those magic erasers. Don't bother paying for the JML ones, the ones from the £ shop do the job just as well. I find they get marks out of my worktops that nothing else will shift. Just be warned they are harsher than you would think, so rub gently to begin with, and build up force as needed. But I guess you might prefer a dull patch to a rust stain?

I used neat Viakal cleaner on mine and took a rusty ring stain of mine. You could try lemon juice and cover in salt over night then scrub?
If that doesnt help a rust stain remover might be the last option, but they can be pricy0
