Wonga.com Loan

Hi guys,

I've got a balance of £450 odd with Wonga, I've been made unemployed and haven't been able to make a payment as of yet.. I'm 2 months over the paydate.

I've been doing some reading and it looks like people advise writing to them rather than phoning to tell them this and arrange a payment plan.

Is there a template letter that I can download that explains to a creditor that I've lost my job?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Luke.

    Dear Sir/Madam

Since making that above agreement with you, our circumstances have changed.

We cannot now afford to agreed monthly payments because ... [your paragraph added here]

We enclose a Personal Budget sheet which shows our total income from all sources, and our outgoings. As you can see we have only £_____ per month left for our creditors. The offers we have made to our creditors have worked out on a pro-rata basis, and we have written to all our creditors asking them to accept reduced payments.
In view of our circumstances, please would you agree to accept a reduced offer of £_____ per month. If interest or other charges are being added to the account we would be grateful if you would freeze these so that all payments made will reduce what I owe you.

Should our circumstances improve we will contact you again.
We would be grateful if you would send a [paying-in book] [standing order form] to make it easier to pay you.

Thank you for your assistance. We look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.

    Yours faithfully

Will need some adjusting since you were unemployed when you took out the loan.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

If you're 2 months over, don't expect your balance to still be £450.
Ensure all of your money is with another bank; a completely separate institution to the details Wonga have.
Write, don't prone and keep copies of everything.

Be prepared for a rough ride as they will be ruthless and won't like what you're doing one bit.

errol is the owner...... explain your circumstances... ask for charges and interest to be frozen, ask for a monthly payyment plan, of say 6 to 12mths.

also ask for sort code account number and reference number and pay by bank xfer each month.

Within 3hrs they will reply, with a repayment plan set up...

    good luck
Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?
