Hi,
Not sure what type of place you're looking for but thought i'd share the list of places i've got so far to possibly hold an evening party. I'm getting married in bournemouth next august. A lot of their websites are quite useful with information on prices, availability etc....
Hope this helps.

We got married in the hotel mirimar and had our reception there too. I've been to a couple of good receptions at the Langtry Manor.0

thankyou will check those hotels out. was having a hall which has their own caterer that would do a 3 course meal, and then after a disco.. All we had to do was decorate the hall, which was easy as I had made table centre pieces, and had people in mind to do chair covers. but lack of communication and endless unanswered questions like what time we can enter the hall?, 2 months still no answer we were starting to worry it would be a disaster so looking elsewhere.. looking at few places on monday. thankyou again for all replies.♥♥♥Life is too short to wake up with regrets ♥ So love the people who treat you right. ♥ Forget about the one’s who don’t ♥ Believe everything happens for a reason ♥ If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands ♥ If it changes your life, let it ♥ Nobody said life would be easy, they just promise it would be worth it ♥0
