Slides for Projector Transferred

Hi all :)

Please help, my mum has found some old projector slides of her and my dad and i'd love to have them transferred into prints for her. It is her birthday in March and my dad died 16 years ago on the day before her birthday so i'd love to make it special for her this year as she will be 75 (ssssssssssssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhh;)lol)

Any help gratefully appreciated

Thanks as always
Destiny

Depending on how many you are planning to do, you can save some money.

We did this before Christmas at a local Jessops store, we have four slides scanned, put onto CD and two 7 x 5 prints of each one and it came to £19.00.

I then decided to go and find a Slide scanner and got this one:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Epson-Perfection-V100-Photo-Scanner/dp/B000HVDYL4/sr=8-1/qid=1168202740/ref=pd_ka_1/202-6705865-2930205?ie=UTF8&s=electronics

This is a normal scanner, but will also scan slides and negatives. This way you can scan them at home, and take advantage of one of the online photo print offers.

    Hope this has helped.

We did the same thing, found that getting them done was very expensive, so bought a slide scanner and did the job ourselves. My wife spent ages scanning and saving them to CD, but transferred hundreds of slides to CD and gave to MIL for Xmas present. Will then print out the best ones....

To give an idea of cost we found the price for doing the job professionally was anything from 75 to £1 per slide.
