have the £3k paid out now?

Hey Dudes and Dudettes :D

Quick question,

I'm 24yo and my previous workplace paid into a pension for me.
I moved on into another job and they are also paying into a new pension for me.
The previous job paid into a pension which totals £3k.
Is there a way I can merge these pensions?

In fact, would I be able to have the £3k paid out now?

Ask your new scheme if they will accept transfers.

No - it's a pension, designed to be paid when you reach retirement age.
