I did think it was a bit odd they were so helpful Igamogam. My OH had a terrible time with them about a new phone not so long ago. The whole reason I'd been putting it off was that I couldn't face a difficult conversation. Wierd.

After all my big plans about paying for oil, I just rang up the company I have an account with and asked them to reduce my payment and they did. By £43 per month. :j I know this wasn't the best move as I won't have a choice now, but they are the cheapest. And I got cold feet about companies who have never been to our home getting lost, bringing too big a tanker to get up the track, ripping the fence post off, etc etc and decided to stick with the devil we know. The reduction in cost begins immediately from our payment in 4 days time. :T

She then offered me a new handset. Given my old one is so tatty looking now, I thought that was a good idea but I haven't even had a look for alternatives. So I got online and she recommended a few that were as similar to my old one as possible. I chose the one I liked and it turned out to be free!

And to top it all, it's arriving in the post tomorrow!

    Brilliant! :T:j:T

Don't forget to go online and see if you can sell your old one for a few pounds - even if it is tatty!

Oooo, happy birthday for yesterday!! *slaps wrist for lateness of good wishes*

And just how inspiring are you m'lady??!! (very - just in case you weren't sure!). So impressed with all your budgeting, and challenging organisations like Orange to do better by you.... wow, seriously, just wow.
