Hello and thanks for everyone who answered the poll and for your feedback.
This is my first Poll ever and it is a simple question. I m not asking if you agree with the Policy. This poll is targeted at R&R's and i just wanted to know if they would shop there or not if they do stop their policy on r&r. Of course if you shop in Asda or Sainsbury this poll would not interest you and if you do shop at Tesco but are not bothered by the R&R policy (by this I mean that you shop there regardless and perhaps you don't r&r often) then you should reply "not sure"

Even without R&R there are still beneficial misprices - who remembers Cranium for £6.97 instead of £25.00? Or the 1p (from 73p) Glo Sticks. Bingo for 62p (not £2.97) and Tumbling Marbles (can't remember the price).

The clothes sales seem to last for weeks, end and then restart and they're not even expensive to start off with.

So, if R&R ended I'd still shop there. That said, I already shop elsewhere regularly (Sainsburys, Morrisons and Asda), so it's not like I'm an exclusive and loyal shopper. Sorry Mr T - today alone I went from Tesco to Sainsburys and then onto Asda. ;)

Yes, agree with the above. Got the Craniums and Bingos. Don't forget the Buckaroo for £1.74!! I don't go out of my way for them, but if I'm there anyway for my shopping I will pick up these bargains. ;)

People are going to vote on the question asked, not some clarification near the end of the thread. I do not go for R&Rs and I voted Yes.

I wonder what will happen if they do stop the R&R.Knowing Tesco's and how reliable they are, what will happen when they overcharge people? If they don't have a policy in place i can see tesco's getting a HUGE amount of fines from trading standards for a lot of cases.

    Yep, I'd still shop there.

I've only r&r'd three times. It doesn't make or break the decision to shop there.

I think they should get rid of it as it is misused. I don't have the inclination to hunt out wrong prices to get the better of Tesco. Life's too short!

Same here, although I am wondering if I could get barred from the two stores nearest me by excessive use of r&r before they change their policy.
  • I think r+r is just over-pacifying of people to stop lawsuits flooding in like in the states.

You don't see anyone complaining if they're undercharged - yet people expect huge compensation if a price ticket is a couple of pence out .. mistakes happen (and i bet some poor sod working at tesco gets some flack if price tickets are wrong)

Take your receipt to customer services and get a refund of the difference maybe... or maybe even a full refund.. but expecting a load of compensation (which is what r+r is essentially) is just childish, and seeking them out is even worse.
