V. cheap cloth laundry/pump bags

I am looking for cloth laundry sacks or pump bags to use as story sacks for school reading area.

The more brightly coloured or patterned the better.

Looking to spend as little as possible and definitely less than £3 if possible.

I would make them myself but I am rubbish at sewing!!

Cheers.

Does your school not teach sewing anymore? Perhaps you could contact the local Adult College and ask if their evening class students would help?

We have done some sewing but I work with the year 1/2 group so they are not quite up to pump bags yet!

I think even with the olde year groups it might take them a bit to long to complete.

I did think about asking some of the parents if they would help out and maybe sponsor a story sack.

I have considered investing in a sewing machine in the past and teaching myself to use it. The Home Ec. teacher wasn't that helpful when I was at school as I was a left hander!!
