Hi
I went a bit mad at the market yesterday and now have lots of plums and pineapples.
I made some pineapple jam today which set a bit hard - but tastes nice
But what can I make with the plums
I fancied making some sort of shortbread with plums in the middle - receipes anyone
Thanks
Hels

Crumble, upside down cake (often done with pineapple), stewed very gently in port..... I'm sure a lot of 'fruit' puddings could be addapted to your taste.
Sorry, just realised that you were probably asking for a recipe for shortcake etc .... I'm sure someone will sort one out for you soon.0 -

Found this recipe online; if you don't have buttermilk then plain yoghurt diluted with milk to milk-like consistency, or just ordinary milk, will do.0
