I think all the messages about "if it's within budget buy it" is great - because that covers everyone regardless of whether you only want to spend £150 or £1500. At the end of the day we're all here to get the best for our money whatever level that is. I don't really have anything to add OP, but I just wanted to say it was refreshing to read.

My dress was £825 (including alterations) I had not planned on spending so much on a dress. But I tried it on and fell in love with it. Fortunately it is my mum's wedding gift to me (us) - her words were it would have broken her heart to see me not get The One. I am very lucky.

When are you getting married and how many other shops have you been to? Just wondering if you've been to any shops that sell Veromia - prices are around £500-£600 brand new. Mine was altered just at the length- and only cost £35. Do you LOVE the dress, or are you just worried that you will lose what seems like a good bargain and that you will end up paying loads more if you don't act now?
