If I re-mortgage £20 000 will I be able to switch lenders and will they pay my fees for me.
Im thinking because its such a small amount other lenders might not be interested. If I stay with current lender Abbey will I have to pay any fees I owe £10000 on house but want extra to pay off credit cards and holiday.
Thanks in advance

Well, if you switch lenders then they want to see a mortgage of £25,001 otherwise a secured loan might be a possibility.
The Abbey might offer you a good deal for staying with them?0 -
You could always take out a flexible mortgage for £25001 and then payback the £5001 immediately.
Sometimes this is easier that getting a £20k mortgage.0 -
You can get a remortgage for less than 25001 with some lenders, but they seldom offer free legals on such a deal, for such a small amount you could be better staying on abbeys productsI am a Mortgage Adviser
