As there are multiple contracts, IMHO and experience, you will definately for mge purposes be classed as normal self emp i.e need to produce 2/3 yr books, with affordability based on income & divs.

Having a mge free house is great for you, but little use to the lender, as all borrowings are based on the ability to pay, which is denoted in the case of s/emp by the info in their books. And this is exactly the situation a self cert mge comes into its own - unfortunately as far as I am aware they all bit the dust in the financial fallout - an active adviser on here with mortgage sourcing software such as mortgage brain, will be able to tell you if any have re-entered the market.

So in place of this, I can only think of Halifax who may still use the fast track mge process (which I think are for purchases also), you could submit an app, pray for an A or B pass and keep your fingers crossed that they don't require sight of your books. Just as a heads up - I must also advise that Halifax do reserve the right to sight of proof of income, even if you score an A or B credit pass, and may request this at any stage of the mge process - you may consider it worth a punt, but you must be aware that if declined by Halifax upon their review of your books, any processing fees paid up to that point will be forfeited.

    Hope this helps
