So far my c9 orders seem pretty good, but surprisingly not many orders for nail enamel. My customers go nuts when they're £3...but now they're £2.50 they aren't interested, the jewellery had been really popular instead.

I was surprised at how many of my customers ordered the FCUK sunglasses! Those offers haven't gone down too well in previous campaigns but about 1/3 of my customers have gone for them!

I thought it was quite a good brochure this time, 1 customer has ordered £20 of Nail Enamel!!!

White Mosaic can drag the base colour through it when you apply and look a bit messy so I found popping a clear layer on top of the colour kind of sets it so you can pop on your mosaic.

Thanks for the tip Pip :)

On a different note I am a bit miffed with Avon for introducing the new product halo highlighter eye powder in C.T range only for them to revamp the whole range and get rid of it!! I had also just added more items to my kit from the C.T range for customers to try which I will now be sending back because there is no point in a customer trying something that is going ot be discontinued in a couple of books time grr.

    Rant over [grin]

Well ....... the nightmare which I thought wouln't happen has. The two people which did Avon at work have both stopped! One in March, and one has gone awol.

There is stuff I desperately want from HT (and probably from the books if only I had them) so I've bitten the bullet and set up an order. Yes, I know its going to cost me to set up again but that's the price I'll have to pay!!

Does anybody know once I'm set up how often I have to order to keep the account active?

    Thanks!

The way I do it is to use my previous campaign books and put a note on front saying I am the independant rep for that road and would they like to see future books. I put a line for house number and then a yes I would like more books and a no thanks for them to tick.

It saves me a lot of time and hassle of wondering of just putting it through and waiting to see if they will order. If they haven't filled in the front I just ask when I collect the books back in so always have a pen handy, especially for those that don't put house number on but tick the yes or no boxes !

    Good luck :)

If it's a street I've canvassed before, then what I do is use an expired, or preferably the previous campaigns brochure, and staple a note to the front introducing myself, and saying if they would like to see a current brochure please contact me on x, and if they aren't interested accept my apologies and recycle the brochure.

If it's a street I've never canvassed before, then I use a note that introduces myself, and asks them to fill in their details is they do not want to receive another brochure. At least then it narrows it down straight away, and helps to stop being people rude as you've acknowledged the fact that they might not want future brochures.
