Proof of debt

My friend needs to write to a Debt Collectors asking them to prove a debt is hers and for the signed contracts.

I know there used to be a letter for this but I can't find it !! Does anyone have a link please

    A credit check is paramount first:
    If this is a stale debt shark, then writing to them could be a very big mistake and leave the way open for endless harassment .
    Do a credit check and come back for more advice from the pundits armed with the results at hand.
