Vistaprint is driving me up the wall at the minute! can anyone help?
I have made a design on photoshop including all the text i want (specific font) and tried the upload your own image thing. It says it needs to be 300dpi, which i have updated the image to be in photoshop, but when i upload it again it still says low resolution and looks awful, yet on photoshop it's exactly as i want it! any ideas? i'm not a fan of the template ones so was hoping this would be a way round it
You've probably done this, but have you tried making a new PSD and ensuring it's set to 300dpi from the start? I find going into Image > size after the event might update the image, but still doesn't change the file data.

I have used Vistaprint for everything. We found a peachy/gold/heart thing we liked and have used it for all the stationery. We tried it out first by ordering 10 free thank you notes and were delighted with the quality.
We're going with the free postcards and paying a little extra for matching envelopes, printed on recycled paper and colour back print.

I used the free business cards for placecards as well. All in all stationery that should have cost me 200 pounds will cost about 70.

  • I know this is awfully cheeky but would it be possible to see a picture of your placecards and how they turned out?? I'm really considering this but am a little bit frightened of what the result will end up like :(

    Hiya,

I got mine from this guy on ebay - really good quality and very cheap, I was really pleased with them.

Hi Country Girl, sorry I only just saw this. I don't have the placecards yet, but will post what I have gotten from vistaprint so far, tomorrow. :)

We've bought some blank cards to fill in for the invitations, they were £2.99 for 20 and are a range, this is one set:

    This is another:

Then we have two more different sets. By sorting through them we can choose the nicest for our daytime guests and still have spare. We think we'll either handwrite or print out into the card (if the printer will take it).
