As posted in the first post of the Depression thread which you have posted on please do not ask for or suggest self diagnosis on either depression or alcoholism.

    Well that's not very money-saving

If you said there is FREE advice for those with Alcohol and depression related problems here that might sneak by Glad's eagle eyes.icon12.gif

The problem is the site can't appear to be giving direct medical advice as NO ONE HERE that may be professionally qualified are using names that a member of the public could sue if the information (that appeared to be medical advice) proved to be dangerously misleading. By providing links to other sites the responsibility for the accuracy of that information belongs there, not here. Martin hasn't got the time or interest in checking out every suggestion that every poster might make in this forum therefore it is reasonable to make a blanket rule, No Medical Advice this is a money saving website.

The excellent information provided by Toothsmith is money-saving because nowadays Dental work costs money and you need to understand what needs doing and why, before you can make a sensible decision. I'm sure many people, not just those who make the original posts, appreciate the clarity and accuracy of the information provided, but it is just information to enable people to make decisions, medical advice can only be obtained from a professionally qualified person after a direct examination of the patient.
