Quidco & olympic chllenge?

Hi folks,

I don'tknow if this post is in the correct place but the inspiration to join came from here:o so here goes.

I joined quidco last night, have just spent ages getting the best deal from my house insurance and saved £200 per year on the cost & will (hopefully) get a further £25 back from quidco.

Questions are this

1..how long does it take to show as something pending on your quidco account?

2... do I have to take the money out every month I spend or can I leave it until i've got a decent amount to use for a bill or something?

3...not really related but can I use the £200 or £25 to join the olympic challenge?

thanks guys, I want to move house this year but need to clear my feet first so the moneysaving will be taken seriously from now on.

Hi, there, appreciate where you are coming from as we too are paying off debts to be able to move house this year (hopefully)

    In answer to your questions

    1. It varies, sometimes it can take an hour, sometimes it can take days or even weeks. I had one transaction turn up 6 weeks later when I had forgotten about it. Have a look at the side of the page on Quidco on the company you shopped with and it gives an indication of how quickly something usually tracks.

    2. You can either receive the money every month or save it up. It's up to you. There is an option in your settings to set your minimum payment. I think it is automatically set at £0 so if you want to save it up then you need to change that to however much you want to save first.

    3. No clue, sorry! Can't see why not though, especially the £25.
  • ive just joined quidco too and am planning to use any money I make from them/it (?) for the olympic challenge and I think a few others are using quidco money too!
