Third time this has been posted and every time it is I will warn of how dangerous these straighteners were.
The cable comes away from the body, with my DD's there was an exposed wire and they are aimed at children !!
Tesco refused to do a recall on them.
The basic answer was "what do you expect for so little" they didn't seem concerned my DD was using something aimed at children which is dangerous.
Just please supervise your children whilst using.

Agreed my friends daughter borrowed one of these from her mates for a few hours. The cable had frayed and she just could not see the danger. I played about with the cable...very very carefully and it arced. If her hand had been near it she would have recieved a big shock. So I removed it from the power pulled the cable with very little force and it broke apart with two exposed mains wires. Then I got the grief from her why did you do that for? How am I going to explain that? and so on...

As soon as they start to fray bin it. Only ever use it on an electrical circuit protected by a RCD. They'll be in modern houses on the consumer unit. If you don't have one then don't use it at all.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
