the hot and spicy ones were £2.19 in my store...barry norman ones.

any specifics would be helpful as i have been twice and price checked a few but no luck. no tesco tuna steaks in my store either only a different make.

would love some red cabbage Mmmm

haywards red c is the 180g jar i think, not the bigger one. and it was the hot and spicy onions you mentioned.
A happy wife, and mum to 2 lovely little boys :j
  • I noticed people in front of me had 4 big jars of HAMA beads in their trolley and they went through for 99p each! That's a very good price as a jar that size is usually £6 or £7 I think. Went upstairs after paying for my shop and had a quick nosey around the toy dept but couldn't see them anywhere. Must have been the last ones, perhaps they have been discontinued? Hope you find them in your store ;) .

Hi poundsinbucks - Tesco are selling containers of HAMA type beads for 99p but they are their own (i.e. Tesco) make and I would check if they are compatible with HAMA sets before buying.

  • This could a long one so bear with me.
This was my findings from my local Homeplus store in Southampton this morning - though could be other stores.

Santa Fe 5 drawer chest which shows as discountinued on Direct @ £54.99, I was charged £13.74 !
They still have a stereo stand, and huge Glass Tv stands, though like the chest i purchased there was no prices displayed, so chances are if you want it, they will still be there.

Vases and artificial flower things at 75%, so may be worth a look for Mothers Day ideas. Most were under a fiver.

Loads of laminate flooring palleted by the 1st isle at £12 - £15 a pack., it's the ones which are showing online at £25 a pack.

Hopefully other stores will have same prices, at least the Homeplus stores should.

Seriously, is Barry Norman selling pickles now, having handed the film review baton to Jonathan Ross? Amazing!
