Tesco mega reductions thread (updated)

1p camera bags - went to price check the red ones at the till - was told i couldn't have as they were 1p - manager called - not allowed to sell them - end of story - they removed all from the shelf........ But....... they didn't remove the black ones..... grabbed half a dozen.... went to a till downstairs... put through fine... HaHa Gotcha!! :j
Loads more black ones available on the shelf - But go to a till downstairs.

My next find, and this may be available in the larger normal store, Tesco Binoculars - from £9.97 to just £1.74 - again loads on the shelf - have checked Tesco Direct online and they are still selling these full price http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.100-0673.aspx

That's all i can remember - but plenty more reduced in camping/fitness/ and toy sections.

Edit - Nearly forgot - 3 pair of stockings pack - just 38p. I left a few packs on the shelf.

I just come back from a tesco extra and the binoculars do scan at £9.97

Well my point is that, compared to the little bottles of herbs and spices in the "standard" ranges (Schwartz etc) this range is far cheaper and hence a bargain.

If however, by a bargain, you mean reduced in price then they aren't. By all means go on paying 10 times as much in the next aisle.

Just been to a Tesco which I only occasionally visit, and discovered 9 of the Normandie wash kits. Still going through at 1p if you can find them! Sales assistant was amazed and pleased for me that I had such a good bargain!
