    Oh joy is mine !!
1st store which has taken 1p items off me before - NOTHING available. - presumably in the skip:eek:

2nd store, half convinced myself wouldn't be worth the detour and the effort....eventually managed to find the last 2 squirrelled away, with all other Normandie stuff, not on reduced section - not even a yellow sel !!

Everything else scanned full price, but getting these made my night - sad eh !!;) Used the self scan tills, and sculked out before security could frisk me !!

Saw some curling irons on reduced section, so may try scanning them tomorrow - per Edindevons post.
Thanks all again - nil desperandum :T

    Re. the McAdam Curling Tongs.

Someone sent me a PM saying that they saw these priced at £9.99 in a reduced section and they scanned at this. I guess one explanation is that they may have stuck a new barcode on these.

The barcode on the one that scanned at 1p for me was
    5 051140 215743

Always look at the new "ethnic" range of foods for bargains, usually near the dietary foods such as gluten free etc.
For example Schwartz cinnamon sticks - £1.14 for 13gr in glass jar
Fudco (they are in Leicester!) cinnamon bark 89p for 100 gr in plastic bag.
You tend to need to be able to use larger quantities of the herbs and spices, but the savings are staggering.
    Sent from my abacus.

If they sell Schwartz at £1.14 for 13g, but on the 'Ethnic' ailse they sell the 'Fudco' brand of cinnamon sticks at 89p for 100g, then its not rocket science to see the savings!
Just work out how much it would cost you if you bought 100g of the Schwartz brand.

Not as exciting as other posts but found yesterday in Tesco on Cheapside (near Bank Tube Station, London) Birds Ready to Serve Brandy Flavour Sauce (500g) for 1p. The SEL even said 1p. Valid until December 07 so bought a couple for my mother to put away for Christmas!

Ortis Pure Plan Drainage Method - Inner Cleansing
    150ml (10 days) 2 flavours - apple and prune
    Was £11.97
    Now 1p
This sounds disgusting - but worth a try at 1p

Got a few of these today from discount shelves. Thanks jap200.

Also Ortis Pure Plan Inner Cleansing TABLETS (30's) Blue & white box,
SEL discontinued, £3.xx, scanned at 1p.
