I got these at 31p but when I got home I checked the Best before date 19th July!!!
I had the same thing the other day... advertised like a special offer price on tzatziki, but actually it was past it's best before date and should have been in the clearance bins.
 Naughty old Tesco... will have to watch out for that in future.TOP MONEYSAVING TIP
Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!0 -
Only a small saving, but I've noticed sugar cubes are being sold at 38p (about half of normal price), and it works out at 76p a kilo, against normal sugar which is 84p a kilo.
They also have them in Asda at 37p - I find them ideal to take on holidays :TI'm a nutter :j0 -

Hi, I just got back from Tesco in Worcester (Warndon) and they have the Gales Lemon Curd in stock for 20p. They also have the Royal Icing Sugar which had SEL of 44p but scanned at 22p. I also picked up some jars of Greek style lentils and veg for only 32p (75%off original price) in the World Cuisine section.0

I noticed the Gales lemon curd is being sold off cheaply in Asda as well... I looked at the label - it contains hydrogenated fat, also called trans-fat (which is banned in a few places) so maybe that's the reason.TOP MONEYSAVING TIP
